Role(Engineer): To facilitate Manufacturing Process for achieving the organizational requirement in an efficient and effective way by optimally utilizing the manpower, machinery and methods.
Job Requirements:
(Minimum experience 4 years in auto components assembly line)
- Understand the business plan with respect to shift, day, week, month and annual with a strong Customer Focus.
- Micro level planning to achieve the desired results in consultation with the Section Head and Superiors.
- Strong Inter Personal relationships with operators Ability to counsel employees on absenteeism, leave planning, productivity improvements, employee involvement activities and other personal problems.
- Awareness about the statutory regulations regarding overtime, hours of work, holiday working and other industrial Relations matters including disciplinary actions.
- Communicate the requirements to Material Department, Maintenance Department, HR Department through the organizational channels clearly mentioning the exact requirement to achieve the desired results and work along with concerned people to get the required support.
- Strong reporting discipline.
- Closely monitoring the operations ensuring quality, productivity, safety, discipline and morale of the employees.
- Provide training (On the Job / Off the Job) to new comers in coordination with concerned departments entrusted with the training.
- Maintain the relevant records according the requirements under various statutory regulations and Audit (TS 16949, EMS etc) purposes.
- Initiate employee involvement activities like suggestion scheme, Quality circles etc.
- Communicate to superiors with respect to concerns affecting regular functioning of the day to day activities in a proactive manner.
- Update knowledge on various quality processes, Design parameters, Maintenance techniques on regular basis.
