Experience: 5–10 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. – Mechanical Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise in-process quality activities across CNC/VMC machine shop and assembly.
- Ensure inspections are carried out as per Control Plan, Drawings, SOPs, and Inspection Standards.
- Monitor process quality, first-off approval, and in-process verification.
- Analyze defects, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, SPC, MSA, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Process Engineering, and Customers for quality improvements.
- Lead quality inspectors, maintain audit readiness, and promote continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
- In-process inspection and quality assurance
- GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation
- Measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, CMM – preferred)
- SPC, MSA, 7 QC Tools, CAPA, PFMEA & Control Plan
- Problem-solving (8D, Why-Why, Fishbone)
- IATF 16949, 5S, Lean Manufacturing
