Job Summary
We are looking for a Stores / Inventory Executive with hands-on experience in inventory management, preferably within a manufacturing or automotive environment. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate material receipt, storage, and issue, maintain inventory records, support audits, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth material flow in compliance with IATF 16949 and 5S work standards.
Experience Required
3 to 8 years of relevant experience in Stores / Inventory Management, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive industry.
Qualification Required

Diploma or Graduate (any discipline).

Additional certification in Inventory or Materials Management will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Material Receipt, Storage & Issue

Receive incoming materials and verify against Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, and Inspection Status.

Ensure correct identification, labeling, and storage of materials as per defined conditions.

Issue materials to Production and other departments against approved requisitions, ensuring accuracy in quantity, part number, and specification.
Inventory Records & FIFO Compliance

Maintain accurate inventory records including Bin Cards, Stock Registers, and ERP transactions.

Ensure strict adherence to FIFO / FEFO principles and proper material preservation to prevent damage, obsolescence, or expiry.
Stock Audits & Documentation Support

Support physical stock verification, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.

Assist during internal, customer, and certification audits by providing required documents and traceability evidence.
Coordination & Compliance

Coordinate with SCM, Production, and Quality teams regarding material availability, shortages, excess stock, and returns.

Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, EMS guidelines, and applicable statutory storage and handling norms.
Workplace Discipline & Safety

Maintain a clean and organized Stores area in line with 5S standards.

Follow and enforce safety practices related to material handling and storage.

Report material damages, discrepancies, non-conformances, or safety hazards immediately to the Stores HOD.
