MEI has 5 manufacturing plants located in and around Chennai. Each of these plants are equipped with State-of-the-art facilities and employ lean manufacturing, cellular concepts, No-fault-forward workstation, kanban, etc. All manufacturing plants are certified as IATF/ISO/OHSAS compliant.
All our plants have an organization structure with fully staffed functions for – Production, Quality, Maintenance, Production Engineering, Purchase, Stores, Planning & HR. The plant functions are integrated at the company level by central functions for – Supply Chain Management (SCM), HR, Maintenance & Production Engineering.
